My Story of Diabetes
My name is Hira Noor. I am in eighth grade and I suffer from diabetes. My older sister Aymen was a diabetic first. Then about ten years later I also got diabetes. I had no hope of life. My family and I were very upset. Then my parents took me to Bach Christian Hospital where we met Dr Angela. She gave me hope and started my treatment. My health started to improve and I was very happy. They gave us many instructions on how to live like a normal human being. Dr Angela is very good. I am very grateful to her. We pray for the Lord to keep her and her family safe. I am grateful to those who gave me insulin, syringes, and glucometers for free. It would be difficult for our family to purchase them. Because of their hard work, I am living a normal life. I try to keep my sugar under control and I avoid sweet things.
