Life for a Child & ISPAD Virtual Mentoring Program
Life for a Child and the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) are excited to announce the continuation of our international mentorship program.
We are calling on experienced diabetes healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, dietitians, psychologists, social workers and other allied healthcare professionals) who are passionate about making a difference and supporting healthcare professionals who work at Life for a Child supported centers in under-resourced countries.
The program aims to support healthcare professionals (Mentees), working with children and youth with diabetes in under-resourced countries through a six-month virtual mentorship program. Mentees will be asked to set some professional development goals and be guided and supported by their Mentor to achieve their goals and expand their knowledge and skills in the care of children and youth with diabetes. Both Mentors and Mentees will receive a certificate of completion from Life for a Child & ISPAD.
