Like many people living with type 1 diabetes, Héloïse spent many years pricking her fingers on a daily basis to measure her blood sugar. This all changed in 2016 when she started using a blood glucose monitoring sensor that allows her to measure her blood sugar more comfortably and effectively.
Diabetes is invisible but not the sensor, which is a constant presence on her arm. It is a reminder of her condition and tells people around her that she is living with diabetes. The one drawback is that the sensor is bland, not very feminine and hard to coordinate with clothing. Why not personalize it and give it some character, colour and life?
Héloïse has created stickers that aim to bring color and life to the everyday lives of people with diabetes who use the sensor. Her label HélOui offers a collection of 216 stickers that can be placed on the sensor to make it fun and vibrant. The stickers come in all types of design, for men, women and children of all ages, and are shipped worldwide. There is a perfect set of stickers for everyone!
Héloise is grateful to be able to access the best diabetes care and recognizes that, unfortunately, this is not the case for many people living with diabetes around the world. Having learnt about IDF Life for a Child, she has decided to donate €1 for every set of stickers sold to help children with diabetes supported by the programme. This amount will provide a child with insulin and diabetes care for one day.
IDF Life for a Child is very grateful for her support.
