Oman bikers join together to support Life for a Child
In Oman, a club of motorcycling enthusiasts - known as the 'Oman Dirty Bikers' - have joined together to support the Life for a Child Program and World Diabetes Day by collecting some USD 5,000 for the Program. The club consists of mainly expatriate oilfield workers, who meet together regularly for rides in the Oman desert.
The club collected the money while one of its members, Youcef Cummings, was competing in the Rally of Tunisia on the World Diabetes Day bike. Youcef completed the gruelling 9-day race in an excellent 10th place, raising valuable awareness of diabetes in the process.
