Generous donation from The Netherlands benefits Life for a Child
Life for a Child has received a very generous donation from Mr. Mike Leers and CZ Health Insurances, a company based in The Netherlands. Mr Leers, who has diabetes and has been active as a diabetes advocate, recently retired as Chairman of the Board of the company. Upon his departure, rather than gifts, he asked his fellow employees to make donations to Life for a Child. The amount raised was then matched by the Supervisory Board of CZ Trust, resulting in a total of €20,000 being donated to the Program. The donation was facilitated by the Dutch Diabetes Association.
